To show solidarity with the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the Indigenous People of Nigeria, IPN, has urged Nigerians living within the Federal Capital Territory to mobilise to Federal High Court on Monday.
The National Convener of IPN, Mazi Nnamdi Iroegbu, made the charge on Sunday on behalf of the group.
According to Mazi Iroegbu, Nnamdi Kanu agitation is necessitated due to the absence of Equity, Fairness and Justice to the people of the Indigenous Igbo ethnic nationality by the current Nigerian administration. THIS IS THE TRUTH.
“In view of the persecution of Indigenous Nigerians by the current administration, the IPN urges Nigerians living within the Federal Capital and its environs to appear in court on Monday with Nigeria flag in solidarity with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu”, Mazi Iroegbu stated.
Meanwhile, IPN urges the Federal government to respect the rights of Indigenous people to self determination, respect rule of law in handling agitations of Indigenous Nigerians, and tow the path of inclusiveness in administering the affairs Nigeria, as it affects Nigerians.
IPN URGES THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO ENGAGE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE THROUGH DIALOGUE, NOT LETHAL FORCE.
